Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to services from DRYSHIELD RESTORATION LLC ("DryShield"). A signed work authorization or contract for a specific project controls if it conflicts with these terms.
Estimates and inspections
Inspections and estimates are free and carry no obligation. Estimates are based on conditions visible and measurable at the time and are not a diagnosis of mold type or health effects.
Bookings and arrival windows
Online and phone requests are confirmed only when we confirm them with you directly. Arrival windows are two-hour targets; traffic, weather, and emergencies can affect timing, and we'll let you know of delays.
Emergency availability
We take emergency calls 24/7. Answering a call does not guarantee a specific arrival time.
Access and occupant responsibilities
You agree to provide safe access, working utilities (electricity and water) where needed, and information about known hazards, pets, and occupants. Please follow any posted instructions about containment areas.
Concealed conditions and scope changes
Hidden damage or growth found behind walls, floors, or ceilings may change the scope and price. We'll explain changes and get your approval before proceeding with additional work.
Pricing and payment
Prices are confirmed in writing before approved work. Payment terms will be stated in your project agreement.
Financing
Any financing is provided by third-party lenders, subject to their approval and terms.
Cancellation and rescheduling
Please give as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Specific cancellation terms for approved projects will be stated in your agreement.
Photos and documentation
We may photograph work areas and record moisture readings for project records and, with your permission, for insurers or property managers.
Contents
Please remove valuables and fragile items from work areas. We'll discuss handling of other contents before work begins.
Hazardous materials
Materials that may contain asbestos or lead require testing or handling by qualified specialists before they are disturbed. Work may pause until that is resolved.
Third-party testing
Lab testing or independent post-remediation verification, if wanted, is performed by third parties and may be arranged separately.
Insurance
We can provide documentation, but coverage decisions are made by your insurer. We do not guarantee insurance payment.
Warranties
No warranty applies unless expressly stated in writing in your project agreement. Because moisture conditions can change, we cannot guarantee mold will not return.
Limitation of liability
[Placeholder for attorney-reviewed limitation language.]
Governing law and disputes
[Placeholder: these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan; dispute-resolution terms to be confirmed by counsel.]
